The Star Wars TM adventure continues on eBay

eBay and Lucasfilm Ltd join forces to celebrate the release of

Calling all Jedi knights - from 9th September the Force comes to eBay as the world’s most iconic and successful fantasy sci-fi epic takes over the world’s biggest ecommerce site.

Lucasfilm Ltd and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment have partnered with eBay to celebrate the release of STAR WARS: THE COMPLETE SAGA on DVD Blu-ray and is giving fans access to never-seen-before film content and rare memorabilia on the site.

Fans can watch six brand new short films edited especially by Lucasfilm, as well as preview six different scenes currently only available on Blu-ray at ebay.co.uk/starwars from 9th September, for 30 days.

From the 12th September, STAR WARS: THE COMPLETE SAGA will be available to purchase at eBay.co.uk. The nine disc box set includes all six films, packaged together for the first time, in glorious Blu-ray high definition and pristine 6.1 DTS Surround Sound. It also includes three additional discs containing over 40 hours of special features and unseen footage, guaranteed to satisfy the most die-hard fans.

The most expensive item bought on eBay.co.uk was a Star Wars Imperial Shuttle for £100,050, but the most popular items are action figures, Lego and video games & DVDs.*

eBay.com, Lucasfilm Ltd and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment are also giving fans access to unique experiences and rare memorabilia through more than 100 Use the Force for Good charity auctions all benefiting Stand Up To Cancer. These exclusive Star Wars charity auctions** are available on eBay.com/starwars and include:

· A pair of VIP tickets to the sold out Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando

· One-off memorabilia ie, life size Stormtropper, Vintage Star Wars birthday poster

· A once-in-a-lifetime experience for any film buff

All charity auctions will run from 16 - 23 September starting at 1200 EDT (8pm GMT)
